BROWN, Charles W.
“Charlie” (Age 85)

Passed away on July 26, 2012, at Holy Family Hospital with his beloved wife, Joyce, by his side.

Charlie was born on December 26, 1926, in Ione, WA.

He was the son of Lyle A. and Florence H. (Gallus) Brown.

The family moved to Red Lodge, MT when he was four years old.

Charlie served his country, joining the Navy in 1944.

He served in WWII and the Korean Conflict.

He later served in the Army during the Cold war and finished his military career serving in the US Air Force.

He was a member of the DAV #45, Eagles Aerie #2 and VFW #51.

Charlie enjoyed square dancing, country dancing, hunting, fishing, boating, touring the country on his motorcycle with Joyce, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his sister, Cleo Clark of Arizona; his wife of 30 years, Joyce of Spokane, WA; children, Mark Brown, Carl Brown, Rosemarie Blancher, Haley Brown, Tami Tedrow, Tracy (Nicci) Stutsman and Trevor Stutsman.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and his former wife and mother of his children, Christine Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.

Charlie was the backbone of his family, always there for anyone who needed anything.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncles and friend.

Memorial services for Charles Brown will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012, at 1:00pm, in the Alwin Chapel at HAZEN & JAEGER FUNERAL HOME 1306 N. MONROE, SPOKANE with Rev.
