Passed away in Spokane on July 28, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, William P. Evans, and four grandchildren; Thadd Evans, Leslee Evans, Antero Cordts, and Tamara Cordts. Surviving her is her son William R. Evans, daughters Barbara L. Cordts and Patricia L. Evans, and her three grandsons; Todd Cordts, Collin Cordts and Mike Cordts. At Ruth’s request, no services will be held.
