Born November 24, 1918 in Spokane; passed away July 26, 2012 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane.
She married Harvey Falls in 1947.
The family lived in Spokane while Harvey served in the Army Air Corps.
Following his discharge they moved to Post Falls where they made their home until l986, at which time they moved back to Spokane.
Ruth attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Gloria (Jim) Evans; two grandsons: Doug (Karene) and Dennis (Margaret) Loman; great grandchildren: Danielle, Stephanie, Carson, Kenzie, Megan and Jacob and two great great grandsons: Kaden and Kyler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; her parents: Leonard and Antoinette (Fratto) Muto and nine siblings: Mary, Joe, Rose, Theresa, Katherine, Stella, Samuel, Louis and Frank.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from noon to 4:00, followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. both at the funeral home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 9, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 545 W. Providence, with a graveside service to follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Xavier Parish or to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Spokane County, 544 E. Providence Ave, Spokane WA 99207.
