In Priest Lake, Idaho they only ask one thing about a man when he passes … did he have passion?
Well Raymond John Feldman, probably more commonly known as Sonny, had nothing but passion.
Passion for his family, his friends, his work and everything that made him smile.
Simply put … his passion was for life.
If you knew him, you knew that about him.
Sonny met no strangers on his path.
If you got on the elevator with him at the bottom floor, you felt like you’d known him your whole life by the time the doors opened at the top.
He lived 76 great years as a son, brother and friend.
52 years as husband to Lana, the greatest wife he could ever ask for.
49 years as Dad, not only to Mark, Kent and Erica … but to many others that trailed along in his wake.
And 21 years doing one of the things he cherished the most … being Grandpa to Cody, Tyce, Taylor and Savannah.
Sonny loved life, from the moment he arrived on December 29, 1935 to the moment he reached his destination on August 1, 2012.
He touched many lives along his journey, each one better for having known him.
He had a way that endeared him to everyone.
His laugh infectious, his sentiment genuine.
The void that’s left will be big but not as big as the legacy of great memories he leaves while sharing his passion for life with so many.
You were loved Sonny Feldman … and you will be missed!

We are going to celebrate his life in true Ray “Sonny” Feldman fashion … not once, but twice.
On Friday August 10th from 3pm - 5pm, we’ll have an open-house celebration at Sonny and Lana’s house at 358 Outlet Bay Rd., Priest Lake, Idaho.
We’ll also have a celebration of his life for his friends and family on the Palouse sometime after Harvest.
