Obituary: Olson, Cody Robert

Age 24

OLSON,
Cody Robert

2/1/1988 - 7/28/2012

On July 28, 2012 our beloved son was called home to be with the Lord.

Cody was born and raised in the Colbert, WA area.

He had a real zest for life and loved an adventure.

During his youth he played on many select and premier soccer teams.

He loved to camp, fish, backpack, snowboard and be on the water.
Cody jumped at the opportunity to move to Kauai a few years ago and called it heaven on earth.

He made Kauai his home and was always trying to get his family to follow him there so we could all be together.

He loved hiking the Napali coast, spear fishing and playing beach volleyball (everyone wanted him on their team).

He became an avid reader and a chess player who was hard to beat.

He was so excited to be starting college at KCC in the fall.
For Cody his family and friends always came first and it showed.

He was loved by all that knew him and was always making us laugh.

He will truly be missed but will always be in our hearts.

Cody made so many wonderful memories in his short 24 years of life.
Cody is survived by his parents, Ron and Kelley Olson; his sisters, Cassidy and Catrina Olson; his grandparents, Ken and Doris Olson; and his many loved uncles, aunts and cousins.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday August 10th at 4 PM at New Creation Church, 1515 E. Farwell Rd, Spokane, WA 99208.
