WEBSTER,
Jessica Lynn
(Age 35)

Of Spokane Valley, Washington, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at her home after a two-year battle with a rare ovarian cancer.

Jessica was born on December 14, 1976, in Boise, Idaho.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Michael Webster, and their 2-year old son, James Riley Webster, of Spokane Valley; her father, George Truppi, and his wife, Jan Two Bears Falcon, of Kamiah, Idaho; her mother, Iny Day-Truppi, of Arlington, Washington; her grandmother, Mildred Truppi, of Meadville, Pennsylvania; her sister, Jamie Lee Truppi, of Portland, Oregon and her husband, Kevin Charles Ware, and son, Avery Charles Ware; her sister, Jaclyn Maria Truppi of Pollock, Idaho; parents-in-law, Steve and Cheryl Webster, of Yachats, Oregon; grandmothers-in-law, Betty King, of Monroe, Washington and Sylvia Webster of Arlington, Washington; brother-in-law, Christopher James Webster, and wife, Rachel Marie Roden, of Reno, Nevada; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins across the country.

She grew up in Boise, Idaho, in Reno, Nevada, and in Redmond and Lake Stevens, Washington.

She spent her summers on her family’s Idaho backcountry ranch.

She graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 1995, earned her B.A.

with honors from Washington State University in 1999, and finished her M.A.

from Antioch University in 2004.

Jessica taught elementary school for twelve years, first in Marysville and then in Spokane Valley.

Jessica married Jason, the love of her life, on August 15, 1999, in Snohomish, Washington.

On January 14, 2010, they welcomed their son James into their lives.

As a teacher, she excelled in teaching reading to her elementary students and was one of the truly gifted individuals in the profession.

Jessica loved to laugh and was the light at many family events.

She treasured the time spent with her family and loved taking adventures into the outdoors with Jason.

Every ounce of her being was put into the short amount of time that she spent raising her son.

She laughed with him and cherished the times that she was able to read and sing to him.

During her two year battle with cancer she showed all of us the meaning of grace, courage, and dignity, teaching us all that life is worth the fight, no matter the outcome.

Never complaining of pain, fighting to the end, she truly was an inspiration to the thousands who followed her journey on social media.

Taken from us much too early, her passing will leave a void in many lives, but in that void there remains hope, inspiration, love, compassion, and a will to live well, that all of us who knew her, can hang on to.

Jessica, you were loved by many, many people and you will be greatly missed.
