Missing Spokane County woman found safe

A 53-year-old woman last seen at her home in north Spokane County late Thursday has been located.

Kathryn Burger is safe, sheriff’s officials say. A neighbor found her this afternoon.

A sheriff’s helicopter was helping deputies search for Burger, who was last seen at her home in the 27400 block of North Bear Lake Road about 10 p.m. Thursday.
