Kootenai County sheriff

Jeffery Batchelder, employee of the Idaho Transportation Department, reported Monday the $1,675 theft of a generator, scale and gas can and $250 damage to a door lock on a 1990 GMC Sierra parked on the 6400 block of state Highway 54 East near Athol.

Donald Peterson, Hauser Lake, reported Tuesday the $325 theft of two batteries and fuel from a boat on the 12000 block of North Woodland Beach Drive on Hauser Lake.

Shayna Collins, Snohomish, Wash., reported Wednesday the $7,750 theft of an engagement ring from the Boulder Beach area of Silverwood Theme Park, 27843 N. U.S. Highway 95, Athol.

Nicholas Madsen, employee of Hayden Lake Library, reported Wednesday the $1,200 theft of a laptop from the library at 8385 N. Government Way, Hayden.

Scott Wilson, Coeur d’Alene, reported Thursday the $2,425 theft of tools, wakeboard, fly rod and pontoon boat tubes from his home on the 5700 block of West Meadowlark Loop, Coeur d’Alene.

Crystal Schneider, Post Falls, reported Thursday the $1,700 theft of a bike, Xbox and PlayStation 3 consoles and accessories, saxophone and miscellaneous items from a storage unit on West Seltice Way.
