3 suspicious fires on Spokane’s Beacon Hill

SPOKANE — Officials are investigating three small fires that broke out Sunday night on Spokane’s Beacon Hill.

The fires are suspicious because they started about the same time and there are no power lines in the area. There was no lightning at the time.

News reports said firefighters contained the fires before they spread beyond a couple of acres.
