Family night at Indians game

SPOKANE VALLEY – Local residents are invited to join Spokane COPS for Yoke’s $1 Family Feast Night with the Spokane Indians at Avista Stadium, 602 N. Havana St., Aug. 24 at 6:30 p.m. The Indians will play the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes.

Tickets are $5. To purchase tickets call (509) 343-6886 or visit www.spokaneindians.com. Select “join your group” and find your neighborhood to purchase tickets.

Space available for arts festival

WEST CENTRAL – Space is still available for artists interested in displaying their work in A Festival of Arts in West Central held Sept. 21-Sept. 28 at Salem Lutheran Church, 1428 W. Broadway Ave.

Admission to the event is $5 and attendees will have an opportunity to view and purchase the artists’ works. The festival is a celebration of art and artists.
