SILVA, Peggy Jean
(Chandler) (Age 81)

Passed away August 15, 2012, in Spokane, Washington.

Peggy was born April 20, 1931, in Chattaroy, Washington to Dearl and Helen Caroline (Schwendinger) Chandler.

She went to school at Elk and McKinley grade schools, Libby Junior High, and Rogers High School.

She graduated from Kinman Business University with a degree in office management.

She was a military wife for 26 years.

Peggy worked for the MS Society for 10 years as an office manager and was also a homemaker.

She was a devoted mother and daughter, loved going to Playfair (to “feed” the horses), playing scratchies, having a cold beer, and hunting for mushrooms.

Peggy loved to travel and lived in Europe as an Air Force wife.

She always had to have pets around her and she is survived by her dog, Schatzi.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Wilda Reynolds; brother, Walter Chandler; and son, Little Johnny.

Peggy is survived by her children, Richard (Michele) Silva, David Silva, Susan (Ed Wood) Silva, Patti (John) Walpole; grandchildren, Angela (David) Blue Darling, Alex Heffelfinger, Rachel and Rebeccah Silva; great-grandchildren, Anastasia, Taylor and Maricella Darling; nieces, Vicky Carpenter (Reynolds), and Kay Mullahey.
A memorial service will be held at the Salvation Army Chapel, 222 E. Indiana, Spokane, Washington, 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 8, 2012.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army or Humane Society.
