PHILLIPS, John Orval
93 Years of Life

A very longtime rancher in the Gardenspot area of Deer Park, Washington, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012.

John is the dear husband of Hilda Anna Phillips, married 71 years, and the loving father of John F. Phillips of Deer Park and Gloria A. Runnion of Walla Walla, Washington.

He enjoyed five grandchildren: Matthew F., Ashlynn R., Korena, Anna Marie, and Emily, and six great-grandchildren: Jonathon, Hailey, Paris, Jordan, Zachary and Alexa.

His brother and sister are Sam Phillips of Alberta, Canada, and Marion Wodelman of Spokane.

Born in 1918 at Chester, Liberty County, Montana.

John served with the United States Marine Corps in the South Pacific Theatre during World War II.

He was a former member of the Gardenspot Grange.

Funeral Services honoring Mr. Phillips will be in Deer Park at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at the Woodland Cemetery with Rev.

Dr. Daniel N. Berg officiating followed with military honors rendered by the United States Marine Corps, Spokane, WA.
