A word game on abortion

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, abortion is defined as: “the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus …”

I’ve just read the article in the Aug. 26 The Spokesman-Review, “Obama critiques Romney’s views.”

When did the Democratic Party redefine abortion as women’s reproductive health? Are they afraid of the political ramifications if they use the word abortion; the taking of an innocent human life?

Women’s reproductive health is not at risk; an innocent human life is at risk.
