Businesses gathering items for Spokane Valley Partners

The Opportunity Business Community will collect items for Spokane Valley Partners from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 8 in the Rite Aid parking lot at Sprague Avenue and Pines Road.

Dave’s Bar and Grill, Pistol Annie’s Salon, Peter’s Hardware, Ichabod’s, Purrfect Logos, Rite Aid and Faucets N’ Stuff will collect warm clothing, coats and shoes for men, women, children and babies. They will also collect baby items such as wipes, diapers, blankets, lotion, bottles, rash cream and pacifiers and personal care items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, lip balm, shaving cream, disposable razors, deodorant and toilet paper.

They will accept sheets, blankets, sleeping bags, towels, kitchenware and dishes.

There also will be a food drive.
