Strike hurts problem-solving
Having been in business for 35 years, and having had my own share of experiences in solving problems that arise between management and employees, I can promise that everyone loses when the problem-solving method selected is a labor strike.
In the case of our dearly beloved Spokane Symphony Orchestra, both the board and musicians must assume equal responsibility in looking at the financial/leave issues from the same side of the table, then jointly design a solution. There is a fair and appropriate solution to this problem but will only be discovered when all efforts are conducted for the common good of one united organization.
