Black mark on holiday

I just watched some videos filmed on Black Friday, which has now become Black Thanksgiving.

This might sound naive, but what has happened to the human race that people will fight and injure each other for an Xbox or big-screen TV?

What happened to peace and good will toward men and being thankful on Thanksgiving for our blessings? For that matter, what happened to Thanksgiving?

At Wal-Mart, the Christmas season started the day after Halloween with music and decorations.

Something to ponder: If people will treat each other that way on Black Friday, imagine their behavior should our government not be able to avoid going over the “fiscal cliff” and social programs get cut.

Black Friday will probably seem mild in comparison.
