COE, Linda Jean September 16, 1946 - November 17, 2012 Born in Bell, California to Erik and Clara Ferm, Linda was raised by her aunt and uncle Gunde and Albert Rude in Wallace, Idaho.

Linda’s siblings include two sisters Judy (Mitch) Almeida and Carol Mueller and a stepbrother Loren Rude.

On July 18, 1970 Linda married Gary Coe.

They would continue as soul mates and best friends over the next 42 years.

In 1977 they moved to Loon Lake, Washington where they still reside today.

The family includes two sons Brad (Kari Kaufman) and Brian (Lisa Miller) and seven grandchildren.

Linda loved children and music.

Following graduation from Pacific Lutheran University (BA Ed, 1968) Linda taught music and PE in the Deer Park Schools.

Nearly every Deer Park elementary student over the next three decades had “Mrs. Coe” as a teacher.

Other accomplishments included recording in Nashville, finishing as Miss Congeniality and First Runnerup in a Miss America qualifying pageant and being a member of the “Choir of the West” and a college cheerleader at PLU.

A memorial service is planned for December 8th, 1 PM at Deer Park High School.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in Linda’s name be made to the Hospice House of Spokane.
