Obituary: Gulliford, Marcelle “Marcie”
Age 75
She is survived by her wonderful husband, Gary, of Spangle, WA, her adored cat “Cali”, loving sister, Ann Wang (Phil) of Spokane; her daughter Sherie Sweaney, Meridian, ID, Shelie Taylor, Spokane Valley, Shannon Minard, Ashland, MA; mother-in-law Madelyn Moore, Newport, WA; two stepdaughters Tracie Larrison, Fairfield, WA, and Jeanne Gibbons, AZ; two stepsons Monte Gulliford, Phoenix, AZ and Mitch Gulliford, VA; 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special “thank you” to her dear friend Chris.
Marcie is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Norene and Frank McEvoy, brothers Don and Norm Brewer and step grandson Levi Larrison.
Marcie attended West Valley High School and retired as supervisor from the Credit Bureau of Spokane.
She was a member of the Credit Womens Association and Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
She enjoyed her home in Spangle, and loved all of nature including the birds, squirrels and flowers.
She also loved fishing with hubby, Gary at their “love nest” cabin at Chapman Lake.
At her request, there will be no service.
A gathering with family and friends will be held at a later date.
Community Cremation is entrusted with her care.
