Gift Card Shark opens in Valley
Pam and Chad Orebaugh have opened a Spokane Valley location for their business, Gift Card Shark.
They have moved into 700 square feet at 14109 E. Sprague Ave. The couple also has a Gift Card Shark kiosk in the Spokane Transit Authority downtown plaza. They have a third location at the Columbia Center Mall in the Tri-Cities.
They buy and sell gift cards. Until 2011 the Orebaughs operated at kiosks inside the NorthTown and Spokane Valley malls.
The Orebaughs sell cards directly, or in other cases resell to a number of online card companies.
Hours at the Sprague store are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday.
California firm buys Perkins site
Eden Court Capital, a California company, has purchased the former Perkins restaurant at 5903 N. Division St. and is converting it into a retail center.
They paid $975,000 for the 5,000-square-foot space, which closed in 2011.
Eden Court will do business in Spokane as Northtown Pacific Properties, LLC.
The building is configured for two retail tenants. The initial tenant will be Select Comfort, a national bedding retailer.
The second space has not yet been leased, said Jim Quigley, of Kiemle & Hagood. Quigley and Chad Carper, also of the same company, brokered the deal.
