Police said Israel Keyes confessed to sexually assaulting and strangling the woman, and left her body in a shed at his Anchorage home while he went on a cruise. The FBI says he returned two weeks later, dismembered her body and disposed of it in a frozen lake north of Anchorage. He was captured by authorities in Texas in March, and was found dead in his Anchorage jail cell Sunday, apparently by suicide.
