Obituary: Bloom, Colin

BLOOM, Colin Colin Bloom “Coke” (age 70) passed away December 1, 2012 in Spokane, Washington.

Mr. Bloom was born March 2, 1942 in Sterling, Colorado to Edwin and Inez (Clark) Bloom.

Colin was a graduate of Sandpoint High School, class of 1960.

He married Bonita Swanson September 23, 1961.

They were married for 51 years.

Mr. Bloom was a member of Operating Engineers Local 370 for 50 years and worked on roads, dams and construction throughout the west.

He is survived by his wife; Bonita Bloom of Cheney, WA.

Daughter; Dayna Sodorff (Robert) of Cheney, WA.

Brothters; Ralph, Charles, and Terry Bloom.

Sisters; Janice Wilson, Sandra Ellingson and Tami Bloom.

Grandchildren; Cameron Hanson and Bryce Sodorff.

Great-grand- children; Dominic Hanson and Londynn Sodorff.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Edwin Bloom and his sister, Ann Hamonn.

A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, at CHENEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1632 W. First St., Cheney WA.
