He was 82.
There will be a graveside service for Dale on Saturday, December 8th at 1:00 pm in the Onecho Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm at the Community Bible Church in Colfax.
Pastor Ken McNaughton will officiate.
Dale was the youngest born to Raymond and Nellie (Lyons) Culbertson.
He and his identical twin brother Dean were born January 5, 1930 in Colfax and joined older sisters Irma and Leona in the Culbertson home.
He grew up in Colfax where his father operated a dairy.
Dale graduated from Colfax High School in 1948.
He worked briefly on the bridge and tunnel crew for the railroad.
He married Helen Rubin in 1950.
They lived in Colfax for a while and Dale worked on a farm.
They later moved to a farm in the Onecho area where they raised grain and cattle.
Dale was a proud father to three children and enjoyed following them in their sports and school activities as each grew.
He was also very active in the Community Bible Church, loved playing golf and was an avid hunter.
Shortly after Helen passed away in 1997, Dale retired from farming.
He married Shirley Mossing Richardson of Pomeroy on February 14, 1998.
They loved traveling together and visiting with friends.
Dale never met a stranger.
They moved into Colfax in 2000.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Richardson at their home; three children, Susan Jackman, Spokane, Craig and Denise Culbertson and Robin and Leif Erickson all of Colfax; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Irma Stueckle and Leona and Harvey Herman of Colfax.
In addition to his first wife, Dale was preceded in death by his twin brother Dean earlier this year and by his parents.
The family suggests memorial gifts be made to Community Bible Church or a charity of donor’s choice.
