Obituary: Sok, Jerome

SOK, Chief Petty Officer Jerome U.S. Coast Guard Retired Chief Sok passed away, after living with cancer for eight years, on November 29, 2012 in Spokane, WA.

He was born October 17, 1942 in Chicago, Ill. On December 17, 1974 he married Irene Sok in New Bedford, MA.

They were married 38 years.

He is survived by his wife, Irene of Spokane Valley; one son, Dr. Jon Sok, of Spokane; one daughter, Christine Ellis of Lake Bay, WA; 10 grandchildren and one sister, Sharon McErlean of Chicago, Ill. Jerome has lived in the Spokane Community for eight years and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 1:00PM at The LDS Foothills Bldg., 5322 N. Evergreen, Spokane Valley, WA.
