Salvatore’s 20 lead Vandals past UC Irvine
Freshman Christina Salvatore scored a career-high 20 points to lead four Vandals in double figures Wednesday as Idaho (2-6) rolled to a 73-55 nonconference women’s basketball win over UC Irvine (2-6) at Irvine, Calif.
Alyssa Charlston added 16 points and a game-high nine rebounds, and Krissy Karr had 11 points and nine assists for the Vandals.
Washington 59, San Diego State 58: Talia Walton hit a 3-pointer with 10 seconds left and finished with a team-high 17 points in leading the host Huskies (6-1) past the Aztecs (4-3).

North Idaho 96, Columbia Basin 65: Keon Lewis led four players in double figures with 21 points and Jordan McCloud had 15 points and 12 rebounds as the Cardinals (12-1) won their 10th consecutive game, defeating the host Hawks (1-4) at Pasco. NIC shot 35 of 67 from the field.
