Age 48
She was born on December 20, 1963 in Laredo, TX to parents Francisco and Maria Martinez.
Sylvia graduated from Vanden High School, Fairfield, CA in 1981 and attended college at Sacramento State.
She married Anthony Hopkinson and shared 27 years together.
Sylvia was a homemaker who enjoyed scrapbooking, painting, photography, and crafts.
She is survived by her loving husband Tony; her parents, Frank and Maria Martinez of Vacaville, CA; daughters, Melissa Hopkinson-Koua of North Carolina, Nichole Davis and Lilly Hopkinson; son, Greg Hopkinson all of Spokane; and four grandchildren.
A vigil will held Tuesday, December 11 beginning at 7:00PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA.
A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, December 12, 2012 beginning at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.
