Car smashes into Spokane Valley home

From staff reports
A car careened into a Spokane Valley home this morning when its driver reportedly experienced a seizure. The driver was headed east on 16th Avenue around 9 a.m. when his medical condition caused him to cross a lane of traffic, hitting a tree and then a home along Woodward Road, said Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies. The driver, who has not been identified, was cited by police for driving with a suspended license. The driver was not injured in the crash, but his car had flat tires from the impact. A tow driver broke a shovel trying to dig out the car. When the vehicle was removed, it revealed a dent in the brick siding of the home. The homeowner’s daughter came home and said there were cracks in the wall inside the home, next to the Christmas tree.
