Driver uninjured after reported seizure: Lyubov Peganova checks out the damage to her neighbor’s home Wednesday in Spokane Valley. The car careened into the home Wednesday morning when its driver reportedly experienced a seizure. The driver was headed east on 16th Avenue around 9 a.m. when his medical condition caused him to cross a lane of traffic, hit a tree and then hit a home along Woodward Road, Spokane County sheriff’s deputies said. The driver, who has not been identified and was not injured, was cited by police for driving with a suspended license. The car had flat tires from the impact, and a tow truck driver broke a shovel trying to dig out the car. When the vehicle was removed, it revealed a dent in the brick siding of the home. The homeowner’s daughter came home and said there were cracks in the wall inside, next to the Christmas tree. (Dan Pelle)
