Obituary: Conger, Guy Fay

CONGER, Guy Fay December 7, 1947 - November 30, 1912 Guy Fay Conger, born on December 7, 1947, went peacefully home to his Heavenly Father in the early morning of November 30, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn; mother, Florence and sister, Patricia.

Guy was a loving father and devoted grandfather.

He is survived by his children Jannette Tchorlian, Alicia (David) Birkner, Tiffany Conger, Melannye (Tyler) Livingston and Ira Conger; also his grandchildren; Virginia, Matthew, Kymberli, Ashley, Makenzi, Lucious, Jayde, Makayla, Katelyn, Zion, and Serenity.

Guy is also survived by his brother Glenn Conger and his sister Candace Trombley.

Guy honorably served in the United States Air Force obtaining the rank of Captain.

After his service he settled in Spokane where he worked as a nurse in the emergency room at Sacred Heart Medical Center for over 25 years.

He was greatly loved and respected by his co-workers and patients.

Guy had a special love for the outdoors.

He especially loved the ocean, thunder and lightning storms and the forest.

In his free time he could be found camping, fishing, or just enjoying nature.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Kolob Regional Care and Rehabilitation Center of Cedar City, Utah as well as his niece DeeDee who cared for dad.

A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 2pm at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, Idaho.

He will be deeply missed by his many friends and family.
