Coroner: Conn. gunman shot mom repeatedly in head

NEWTOWN, Conn. (AP) — Authorities say the gunman in the Connecticut school rampage shot his mother multiple times in the head before going to the elementary school where he gunned down 26 people, including 20 children.

The medical examiner says Adam Lanza also died of a gunshot wound to the head that was self-inflicted.
