Obituary: Bartleson, Jack Harvey “Buck”

Age 92

BARTLESON, Jack Harvey “Buck” August 21, 1920 - December 12, 2012 Jack was born in Colfax to Ray and Eloise Bartleson.

He married Lucille Barrington on June 9th, 1947, in Spokane Washington.

He is preceded by his wife Lucille and survived by his sister Eloise Miller and his four children: Pat and Dee Bartleson, Mary and Doug Bithell, Jerry Bartleson, and Nancy and Jim Ferderer.

He has 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and more friends and relatives than you can count.

Jack farmed the Palouse, had a dairy and worked the mill in Chewelah.

He moved to Spokane in 1960 where he was a mechanic, ran a service station, sold cars, worked as a janitor for a private Catholic school and worked as a janitor for school district 81 (where he retired).

He moved to Chattaroy in 1988 with his daughter Mary and her family where he resided until his death.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and huckleberry picking.

Jack’s Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012, at 12:30 p.m. at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division.
