Obituary: Christianson, Glen Norman

Age 80

CHRISTIANSON, Glen Norman (Age 80) Glen Norman Christianson was born to Chris and Agnes Christianson on October 26, 1932, in Harvey, North Dakota.

He passed away in Spokane on December 11, 2012 after a lengthy illness.

Glen attended schools in Western Washington, Oregon and Idaho, before completing his final years at Otis Orchards High School in 1951.

Upon graduation Glen joined the Army during the Korean War.

After completing his tour of duty in the Army Glen returned to Spokane and began a career in Silk Screen Advertising production.

When his employer sold the company to General Display Company, Glen moved with the new company to Southern California where he rose to production supervisor.

He retired, and then moved back to Spokane in 1998.

Throughout his life Glen enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and boating.

He is survived by his sister, Alice Herman and his brother Ray Christianson (Kay), all residing in Spokane Valley, WA.

He is also survived by several cousins and many nieces and nephews.

His brother Maurice Christianson preceded him in death in 2006.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM at The Pines Cemetery Mausoleum with Pastor Craig Goodwin officiating.
