Obituary: Livers, Marjie Caroline (Quaschnick)
LIVERS, Marjie Caroline (Quaschnick) Died of natural causes on December 13, 2012, having recently celebrated her 90th birthday. Born in Spokane, WA November 29, 1922 to Emil and Edna Quaschnick. She attended Lewis and Clark High School. As an Air Force spouse, she moved and traveled extensively finally returning to the Spokane area. She lived in Loon Lake until moving into the Fairwinds of Spokane. Marjie was involved with many of the activities at the retirement home, including Book and Salad Tuesdays, her favorite. For many years she was involved with Spokane’s Corbin center attending their writing classes keeping fellow students waiting for the next week’s installment of Marjie’s Swamp King adventure. One of her stories was published in “Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover’s Soul” She is survived by her three daughters, Penni Wilbert, Pamela Frederick, and Elizabeth Dayley, and a son, Allan Livers, Jr. (Bud). Additionally, she has eight grandchildren and eleven great- grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband Allan Livers (1995), twin sons David and Paul Livers (1959), brothers Robert Redding and Bill Quaschnick, and grandson Rayce Newman.
