Obituary: Hubert, William J., Jr.

HUBERT, William J., Jr. (Age 77) The last of his generation.

Passed away on December 19, 2012 in Spokane, WA.

He enjoyed family gatherings, especially on family holidays.

His hobbies included artwork, hunting, horses, mechanicing and casinos.

His truck driving career started at age 13.

He drove for Don mining Co., Suntex and Boise Cascade.

He retired as owner/operator of Hubert Trucking.

Born on June 5, 1935 to William and Ellen Hubert Sr. in Ford, WA.

William is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marcelene Hubert of Ford, WA; five children, Lynn (Rick) Palmanteer-Holder of Omak, WA, Brenda (Gerald) Cates, Ron (Donna) Hubert and Kelly (Randy) Hubert-Watts, all of Ford, WA and John (Diana) T. Hahn III of Spokane, WA; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, two God-children, Larry Stafford and Sandy Lundgren; brother-in-law, Chuck Cotton; sister-in-law, Inez Hubert and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ellen Hubert; five sisters and two brothers.

He was a member of the St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church of Ford, WA.

He was a mentor and loved by many.

He will be missed.

A Rosary will be held at 7 pm on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Spokane Tribal Longhouse.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, Ford, WA.

Interment at the Hubert Jr.

Cemetery, Ford, WA.
