Stop covering shooter
I offer my sympathy and condolences to all family members and friends of the victims of Sandy Hook, Conn.
I ask that news coverage curtail its information about the shooter. I will not even mention his name. People that do this sort of thing are usually ill. Let us focus on the families and the victims. Continue to focus on these things that are good and things that are encouraging.
It’s not gun control we should be focusing on, rather, maybe, just maybe violence. Why do we encourage the sale of video games that are so true to life, with killing and massacre action throughout?
Guns are not violent, people are. We have had guns forever; our society has taken a turn toward unprecedented violence. Let’s do something about that.
