Obituary: Boulden, Marian Margaret Mcnevin

BOULDEN, Marian Margaret McNevin (Age 92) Went home to the Lord two days after her birthday.

She was preceded in death by her mother Ethel Mahar McNevin, her father William McNevin and her brother William McNevin.

Marian is survived by her loving husband, George, who shared 67 years of a happy marriage; son, Garry Boulden; daughter, Kathleen Baker; son-in-law, Terry Baker; grandsons, George and Daniel Baker; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Marian attended St. Patricks grade school, Rogers High School, and Kinman Business University.

Marian was voted Queen of the Police Benefit Ball on September 8, 1943.

She worked at the Trade School, Rosauers and Safeway.

On the day President Kennedy was shot they formed a study club with the members of St. Charles Parish.

These people became fast and loyal friends throughout their lives.

Marian enjoyed gardening, playing cards and dancing at the BOF.

She also was a member of the St. Pius Guild at St. Charles Parish.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 27 from 12-7pm with vigil services beginning at 7pm, all at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be Friday, December 28 at 11am and will be celebrated at St. Charles Catholic Church, 4515 N. Alberta, Spokane with committal to take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to The American Heart Association.
