Killing not restricted to guns

First. My sincere thoughts and condolences to the families of those children killed in Connecticut. As a parent and grandparent, I cannot imagine their grief.

Facts for those who advocate stricter gun controls:

• Is this the worst case of mass killing of innocent people in the United States? No.

• Timothy McVeigh slaughtered 168 people in Oklahoma, including 19 children, using diesel fuel and fertilizer.

• In 1990, Juan Gonzales killed 87 people with a gasoline fire in New York.

• Terrorists hijacked four airplanes with box knives and killed over 3,497 people.

Not one firearm was used.

Would an assault weapons ban have saved any lives? No.

This “thing” killed his mother and used her legally purchased weapons.

Is this call for stricter gun control a start of full confiscation? Yes.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, backer of the assault weapons ban, said “If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate … for an outright ban, picking up every one of them up … Mr. And Mrs. America, turn ’em all in, I would have.”

Were the killers deranged? Yes.

Who in their right mind would kill children?

These politicians/media are advocating a politically correct action that does little to address the problem.
