Obituary: Danis, Patricia Joyce (Frucci)
Age 72
Patricia was born in Spokane Washington to Ernest and Betty (Bender) Frucci on September 4, 1940 and lived a very full life.
She grew up in the 40’s and 50’s and told her children of wonderful stories of her childhood.
Patricia graduated from North Central High School in 1959, and married Airman Rene N. Danis on October 1, 1960.
Together they raised three wonderful children.
Patricia was a stay at home mom, but when the youngest started school, she went to work for the Crescent Warehouse and worked until they closed.
She also worked for a short period of time at JC Penney’s before retiring and taking up her favorite hobby quilt making and sewing.
Making quilts was Patricia’s passion but she also enjoyed making clothes, costumes and blankets for her grandchildren.
She has made numerous quilts for family and friends.
She also enjoyed gardening, canning, reading and entertaining.
Patricia had very strong family values.
She enjoyed taking trips to Minnesota to visit her grandchildren, going to the Oregon Coast with her daughter, and loved cooking and sharing her family recipes with her daughters.
Patricia was also the type of person you could come to if you needed anything or just needed a shoulder to cry on.
Patricia was preceded in death by: her loving husband of 52 years, Rene N. Danis, her parents, Ernest C. Frucci, Betty J.
(Bender) Frucci, and her sister Carol A. Frucci.
Patricia is survived by: Her brother Dominic (Nick) Frucci, Daughters Cynthia (Shaun) Clark, Brenda (Gary Jr.) Robbins, One son Brian Danis and two grandchildren, Nicole Robbins and Rachel Robbins and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial celebration will be held Friday, December 28, at 1:00 p.m. at The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 3624 West Indian Trail Rd.
A celebration of Rene and Patricia’s life will be held at a later date.
