She is survived by three sisters, Helen Girard, Tess Holiday, and Sharon Lewis; preceded by sisters Evelyn and Betty.
In 1950, she married her high school sweetheart, Burr Reding, Jr., who died three years ago.
Joanne spent most of her adult life in Gillette, Wyoming and, ultimately, Spokane, Washington.
Her greatest love was her family.
Six children: Mike, Dee Ann, Rick, Susan, Mark and Dana, gifted her with 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who were the lights of her life.
Joanne avidly followed all her children’s exploits, especially at sporting events, where she was knowledgeable, vocal, and appropriately biased.
She loved to laugh and was thrilled whenever any family member would sing.
We sing her praises now.
She will be missed.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 9:30am and will be conducted at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
