Bullpups keep perfect mark intact

Otiona Gildon scored 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as Gonzaga Prep kept its perfect record intact with a 64-48 nonleague girls basketball win over visiting Bellarmine Prep on Thursday night.

Kayla Leland added 10 points and Mary Hoffman pulled down eight rebounds for the Bullpups (7-0), who led 33-21 at halftime.

West Valley tourney

West Valley 55, Timberlake 18: Erin Higbie had 15 points and eight rebounds and Natalie Noble added 11 points as the host Eagles (4-3) dominated the Tigers (2-8). The Eagles will play Bonners Ferry today and Timberlake will take on Medical Lake.

Bonners Ferry 51, Medical Lake 33: Savannah Woods led a balanced scoring attack with 10 points and the Badgers (7-1) pulled away in the second half and beat the Cardinals (4-5).

Freeman tourney

Freeman 61, St. Maries 18: Alisha Sorensen had 21 points, six assists and five steals as the host Scotties (8-0) dominated the Lumberjacks (3-7). Freeman will play Pullman today for the tournament title. St. Maries will take on St. George’s.

Pullman 49, St. George’s 21: Anna Guo had 12 points and 10 rebounds to guide the Greyhounds (4-3) past the Dragons (3-7). Alex Wert had 16 points for St. George’s.

Reardan tourney

Reardan 61, Almira/Coulee-Hartline 43: Kelsey Moos led three players in double figures with 20 points and the host Indians (9-1) pulled away in the second half and beat the Warriors (5-4). Karlee Martin and Monique Isaak scored 11 points apiece for the Warriors, who will play Columbia today. The Indians will play Chewelah for the championship.

Chewelah 59, Columbia 33: Elizabeth Larrew scored 13 points as the Cougars (4-4) gained a commanding first-half lead and eased past the Lions (4-5). Brittney Wuesthoff scored 17 points and Sydnie Katzer added 12 for the Lions.

Rosalia tourney

Wilbur-Creston 58, Davenport 49: The Wildcats (6-2) overcame a nine-point first-quarter deficit and beat the Gorillas (2-8). Wilbur-Creston and Rosalia will play today for the title. Davenport will play Odessa-Harrington.

Rosalia 43, Odessa-Harrington 26: Mackenzie Reddish had 20 points and seven rebounds as the Spartans (6-2) beat the Titans (2-6).

Dayton tournament

Dayton 46, LaCrosse-Washtucna/Kahlotus 19: Malia Frame scored 16 points and McKayla Bickelhaupt added 11 as the host Bulldogs routed the Tigercats (0-8).

Nonleague

Shadle Park 58, Lake Stevens 54: Kaycee Hert tallied a game-high 21 points and the Highlanders (5-3) hung on late and edged the visiting Vikings.

Post Falls 76, Mountain View 30: Dani Failor had 15 points and 10 rebounds and Hallie Gennett added 15 points and nine boards as the Trojans (12-0) won at Mountain View at the Archbishop Murphy tournament in Everett.

Rogers 57, Wellpinit 48: Sarah Guertin scored seven of her team-high 13 points in the third quarter as the Pirates (1-7) topped the visiting Redskins (5-5).

Lake City 38, Monroe 25: Madi Farrell scored 15 points and Hailey Jackson added 14 as the Timberwolves (7-5) pulled away in the second half and beat the Monroe at the Juanita tournament.

Colville 38, Priest River 35: The Spartans’ comeback attempt fell short as the host Indians beat the Spartans. McKenna Cabbage scored 10 points for Colville (4-3), which stymied Priest River (6-5) with its full-court pressure defense. Jill Weimer led Priest River with 19 points.
