Obituary: Dieterich, Ernest W.

DIETERICH, Ernest W. “Ernie” Born June 24, 1928.

He passed away December 24, 2012.

Ernie is survived by his wife Wanda (of 42 years), 10 children, 26 Grandchildren, and 23 Great-Grandchildren.

Ernie was an Inland Northwest Blood Center Volunteer for over 17 years.

Before his service with the center he was retired from insurance investigating.

Growing up on a farm, shaped Ernie’s sense of volunteerism and, as Ernie put it, he and his neighbors learned how to help each other and not just themselves.

Ernie was very active at his church.

Spending time with family was extremely vital to Ernie.

And his woodworking was his all time passion.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ernie’s name may be made to the Knox Presbyterian Church.

A memorial service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church at 806 W. Knox, Spokane on Saturday, December 29th at 11:00 am.
