NRA cliches won’t stop killling

When are we going to demand gun control? The availability of guns, semi and automatic weapons, hidden handguns makes Newtown an inevitability. There is no excuse for weapons to be readily available in this country.

Just look at the situation in Canada and Great Britain: gun control works. Stop with the National Rifle Association generalities that guns don’t kill, people do. Not having guns readily available isn’t going to stop all murders, but how many will it stop?

If we save one life because weapons of mass distraction are not readily available it would bring me joy each day when I look at the headlines and don’t see a new Newtown.
