Obituary: Kruse, Sandra Rae

Age 69

KRUSE, Sandra Rae (Age 69) A 34-year Omak resident, passed away on December 25, 2012 at Central Washington Hospital, fol-lowing an extended illness.

She was born on April 21, 1943 at Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Grant and Dora (Sagmo) Beedy.

She spent her early years growing up in Minneapolis and moved with her family to Rosalia, Washington in 1952.

She received her elementary, junior high and began high school in Rosalia before moving to live in Fairfield, Washington where she attended high school to the 12th grade.

She met Ronald V. Kruse and they were later married on June 7, 1961 at Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

They made their first home together in Fairfield.

She remained in Fairfield while her husband served in the U.S. Navy and later joined him in Alemeda, California, where he was serving at a Naval Air Base.

In 1962, they moved to Rosalia, where they remained until moving to Puyallup for four years while Ron worked at Boeing.

They returned briefly to Rosalia before moving to Spokane in 1971.

The following year they moved to Colville and in 1974 they moved briefly to Okanogan and settled in Omak that same year.

She had attended both the Presbyterian and Lutheran Churches in Omak.

She enjoyed being a homemaker, baking, taking care of her children and welcomed all the neighbor kids as well.

She had many kids that called her “Mom”.

She crocheted, made afghans, hats and crafted aertex, (painting on material).

She is survived by her husband, Ronald V. Kruse, Omak; one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Jeff Harris, Omak; two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy “Tim” and Jaci Kruse, Mead, WA and Scott and Kristina Kruse, East Wenatchee; eight brothers and sisters and their spouses, Lois and Clinton Carter, Spangle, WA, Gary and Joan Beedy, Pullman, WA, Sharon and Ken Rohde, Cheney, WA, Robert “Bob” and Darleen Beedy, Chattaroy, WA, Carol and Jay Holling, Rosalia, WA, Pamela Satre, Minneapolis, MN, Wendy Willey, Spokane, WA and Jackie and Don McClure, Auburn, WA; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Jean Claussen and one infant brother Beedy.
