OUTLOOK: On paper this is the easiest week of the season for the Eagles, which is a sure sign of danger. NAU has lost nine straight, including a 31-point pasting at Sacramento State on Saturday. Worse, the program may be facing an NCAA investigation into various violations under former coach Mike Adras, who resigned suddenly on Dec. 6. EWU looked rejuvenated Saturday in breaking its four-game losing streak against Montana State, which was the key to overcoming a halftime deficit against NAU on Jan. 7. Likewise, Sacramento State played the Eagles tough in a 65-61 game two weeks ago in Sacramento.
