Mariners add two relievers to bullpen
The Seattle Mariners have agreed to a $750,000, one-year contract with Shawn Camp and a $500,000, one-year deal with Hong-Chih Kuo in an attempt to add bullpen depth.
Kuo was an All-Star in 2010 with the Dodgers but struggled last season with a back problem early and later missed a month with an anxiety disorder.
Camp led Toronto with 67 appearances last year and was 6-3 with a 4.21 ERA.
To clear roster space, Seattle designated outfielder Mike Wilson and catcher Chris Gimenez for assignment.
Also, Mariners minor league catcher Christian Carmichael has been suspended 50 games …

He batted .182 in 11 at-bats for Seattle’s Arizona Fall League team last season.
Rockies get Guthrie
The Colorado Rockies acquired veteran right-hander Jeremy Guthrie from the Baltimore Orioles.
In exchange, the Rockies sent reliever Matt Lindstrom and right-hander Jason Hammel to the Orioles.

Miami Marlins pitcher Anibal Sanchez became the first player to win in salary arbitration this year when a three-person panel awarded him $8 million rather than the team’s offer of $6.9 million. … The Chicago Cubs have claimed infielder Adrian Cardenas off waivers from the Oakland Athletics and designated infielder Blake DeWitt for assignment. … The Washington Nationals have agreed to a minor league contract with outfielder Rick Ankiel. … Left-handed reliever Joe Beimel and first baseman-outfielder Conor Jackson have agreed to minor league contracts with the Texas Rangers. … Light-hitting infielder Alex Cora has agreed to a minor league contract with the St. Louis Cardinals and would get an $800,000 deal if added to the 40-man roster. The 36-year-old played all four infield positions last season for the Washington Nationals. … The Atlanta Braves have unveiled a new alternate home uniform that is based on the attire worn when the team moved from Milwaukee in 1966. The new uniforms will be worn during weekend games at Atlanta’s Turner Field.
