New record was for steals

Eastern Washington University women’s basketball player Chene Cooper broke Lisa Comstock’s steals record at EWU, not the assists record, as was reported in Tuesday’s sports section.

Basketball stats covered 15 years

The “Frosh Phenoms” information box in Tuesday’s sports section referred to Gonzaga University freshmen for the past 15 years, not all-time, as was indictated in the information box.
