PJALS to host conference

WEST HILLS – The Peace and Justice Action League of Spokane will host the Peace and Economic Justice Action Conference at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Spokane, 4340 W. Fort George Wright Drive, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 17, and 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Feb. 18.

The conference will kick off with a free reception and the short film “Maria Full of Hope.” It will also include performances by local spoken word and musical artists, and workshops.
