3 dead in North Spokane homicide
Two juveniles and an adult woman are dead in what police are considering a triple homicide in North Spokane.
None of the victims had been identified, and police would not say whether they had identified a suspect.
However, Capt. Frank Scalise, patrol division commander of the Spokane Police Department called the case a “potential domestic violence” situation, and authorities scoured a wide swath of North Spokane late into the night Friday.
The investigation began when police responded to 4411 N. Whitehouse after a person called 911 to report they found a dead body in a house there at about 7:30 p.m.
While police would not say the manner of the victims’ deaths, they did say that it was clear the victims could not be resuscitated when emergency responders arrived.
Investigators were still on scene and the area was cordoned off as of press time Friday night.
Meanwhile, Officer Jennifer DeRuwe, Spokane Police spokeswoman, said police were tracking down leads in search of a possible suspect. The search was aided by a SWAT team and a search helicopter.
