why do the have to wait for a warrant?

So any evidence they find can be used in court.

I didn’t do it. I swear!
lewis, the cops can only break in without a warrant if there’s an immanent threat to someone. It takes very little time, however, to get a warrant. My understanding is it’s basically a phone call to a judge and they have it.

So two kids are dead and RedCedar is making jokes. Show’s the maturity of the bloggers on this page. Its close enough to the first of the month so RedCedar probably still Steele Reserve in his mini-fridge.
Cops do not “break in” and warrants generally take at least a couple of hours to obtain.
There’s this little used document called the US Constitution that keeps the Police out of your house and life without cause. A judge has to review and approve before the Police can then search and take evidence.
The suspect, no matter how evil they are, still has rights that have to be respected and handled accordingly.

i thought if the police see a dead person they can enter in case there are other injured people in the house needing aid.
