Roundup: Northwest Christian girls roll to triumph

Treasure Farmer scored 15 points and Courtney Gray and Alyssa Yates added 12 apiece as Northwest Christian routed Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 62-35 in a District 7 2B game Saturday night at Mead High School.

Hannah Dietzen added 11 points for the Crusaders (17-4), who led by 29 points heading into the fourth.

The Broncos (10-10) were led by Andrea Bennett’s eight points.

Northwest Christian advances to play Colfax on Monday at Mt. Spokane High School. Lind-Ritzville/Sprague will play Kettle Falls on Monday at Mead in a loser-out game.

Colfax 63, Kettle Falls 23: Taylor Larson led three players in double figures with 14 points as Colfax (15-6) overwhelmed Kettle Falls (6-16) at Mt. Spokane. Colfax outscored Kettle Falls 28-5 in the first quarter and led by 30 points at the half. Kourtney Keenan tallied a team-high 13 points for Kettle Falls.

Reardan 71, Republic 17: Lauren Schulz scored 18 points and Kelsey Moos added 12 points, 10 rebounds and five steals as the Indians (21-0) routed the visiting Tigers (14-7). Alyssa Stout led Republic with 11 points.

Idaho 1A Division I

Troy 57, Lakeside 31: Madisen Yockey scored 15 points and Nicole Knott added 14 points as the Trojans beat the Knights (7-8) at St. Maries. Kim Duncan-Hall and Shannon Miller had eight points apiece for Lakeside.

Troy advances to the state tournament and Lakeside’s season is finished.

District 7 1B

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 63, Cusick 35: Karlee Martin had 17 points, seven rebounds and seven steals to lead the Warriors (19-3) past the Panthers (14-8) in Deer Park. Madeline Isaak and Shelby Streeter added 10 points each for Almira/Coulee-Hartline.

Columbia 66, Wellpinit 27: Elizabeth Larrew had 20 points, seven assists and six rebounds to lead the Lions (23-1) past the Redskins (9-14) in Deer Park. Lindsay Loe added 16 points, nine rebounds and four steals for Columbia.

Odessa-Harrington 32, Inchelium 23: The Titans (10-12) got out to a fast start and beat the Hornets (8-13) in Deer Park. Kendall Todd scored eight points and Charli Moffett had six points and 11 rebounds for Odessa-Harrington. Jovhni Seymour led Inchelium with 13 points.

The Hornets’ season has concluded.

Wilbur-Creston 43, Selkirk 31: Kaelee Reed and Lauren Leyva combined to score 21 points as the Wildcats (9-11) eliminated the Rangers (15-9). Courtney Holter had 18 points and Annie Couch added 11 for Selkirk.
