Eastbound I-90 closed near Cle Elum

Interstate 90 near Cle Elum was closed this morning so that wreckers could clear an accident involving a semi truck carrying jet fuel. The Washington State Department of Transportation said it was closing the eastbound lanes at 11 a.m. to clear the wreckage from the accident earlier this morning. In addition, the eastbound rest area at Indian John hill was also closed. The accident occurred at milepost 85 near Cle Elum. The closure should last until 2 p.m., the WSDOT reported.
